Supplier have said warranty is not transferable (exhaust is 13 months old FFS!) but they'd like to inspect anyway... :? So as I understand it they will inspect to see what's wrong but do nothing about it...will wait and see what their reply is like.

The rattle very much sounds like it comes from the left backbox itself. Have contacted the supplier to see if they can help me. Fingers crossed.

Thanks a lot for the help chaps, so you reckon its the heatshield just needing re-adjusted so it doesn't contact the exhaust? Failing that I will get in contact with the garage that fitted the exhaust. Need a trip home now to properly investigate!

This may sound like a stupid question but what does the heat shield look like? I'm pretty sure the receipt of nearly £400 for the exhaust is in my folder of docs for the car, when I'm home I'll investigate the possibility of a warranty.
