Rear Suspension saga continued, I have now got the correct part number for the shock now all I am looking for is the part number for the springs. I was at renault this morning for a while and yes there were very helpful I must admit.... No info comes up for the trophy springs only for the 182...

Yes we are... but dont really have any tools.. do the springs not need compressed or anything... sorry newbie to all of this as you can see... but willing to learn!!!! Can someone pop around with the trolley jack and tools and I will do it then..lol jsthomson

All, I think I have all the parts direct from Renault 2 x shocks and 2 x springs for £444 so National were going to at first charge£900 for parts and labour... Ok I understand that they would inflate the price for the parts too but £456 for labour. Does anyone know a good place in the Glasgow...

Sorry Ben god know what happened to my last post... Yes that was for all parts and labour!!! So would you go for all renault parts....??? And would you use renault rear discs too or upgrade using other ones????. I will be upgrading fronts when i can. jsthomson

Well thats a good question... i think they must be over charging parts and then slamming a holiday at the end for the machanic to be honest...:) Like i said dont mind paying just dont wont to get ripped off... jsthomson

Ben, So the good spring shouldn't be any different if it is in good condition and I can leave it...? I don't want to change the handling so just doing one spring is enough???? Yea the national price was all parts and labour... but still a bit of a rip off to my mind so going to get a quote...
