    Clio Trophy Rear Shocks

Marc, are those the re-valved Koni rear dampers that Mark does? If so, count me in for a group buy. I'd read on here they were much more expensive than that.

    Clio Trophy Rear Shocks

Pretty sure the Mark Fish dampers are more than that... I've read they are £360 (and that might be exclusive of VAT!).

    Front Splitter

Flat it back and re-lacquer. It will look like new after

    Knocking/juddering/vibration on full lock

Does it feel as if you have a flat tyre?

    Front Splitter

There's quite a noticeable difference between the Skoda splitter and the original Cup one. The Skoda splitter also needs some modification to fit, and still, never quite looks right (in my opinion of course).

    10 years coming up

I like Claude's idea of a driving meet in North Wales. That or a track day. There's only so long you can stand around looking at identical cars!

    SACHS DAMPERS REBUILDS

That's good to know, thanks for sharing Marc. BG refurb'd my dampers and they are still going strong after 4-5 years and I'd estimate at least 60k miles. I thought they'd failed a couple of weeks ago but on removal it turned out one of the springs had moved out of position.

    Mileage

Nearly 106k here. Currently clocking up 2k+ per month in my T - it's just about to have its third service this year!! Think it's time I bought a second car for work....

    Mikeyjp's Clio 182, #037, Trophy Progress thread

The mounts make such a difference don't they... Mine were in a similar condition to yours and I noticed a MASSIVE improvement in throttle response, handling and even braking!

    catalyst converter

The standard 182 cat is already a 200-cell sports cat. I doubt you will see any gains from one of K-tecs sports cats and even if you do, they won't warrant spending £300....! Personally I'd buy a genuine OEM cat second hand off eBay / ClioSport.net. It will cost £60-£80 tops. Whilst it's off...

I vote you Mikey! It's a shame this place is so quiet nowadays........ it seems even the admin/mods have lost interest!!

    Mark Fish Suspension

What's the effect on handling? I'm not really bothered about it being lower (arch gap FTW!), just looking for something that will improve the handling.

    Mark Fish Suspension

So, my dampers are well and truly in need of a refurb :( Whilst they're off the car, I thought I might as well collect some bits to give the suspension a bit of an overhaul / refresh. I'll be replacing the steering rack bushes, ARB bushes, track rod arms and boots, track rod ends, lower...

    Polybushed dogbone mount.?

Yep - i've just fitted one and it has caused some increased vibration/rattles at idle, but the improvement it offers in terms of driveability more than makes up for it. Doesn't bother me personally, but I can see why it would

    Snappy Customer

I spoke to snappy about this and he said the condition is not important as they are replaced anyway

    Engine noise

Unless it has done mega mileage in that time, i find it hard to believe the depasher would sound like that after just one year...!

    Engine noise

Sounds like the dephaser pulley.... When does the reciept you have suggest it was changed?

    New bits

How much are you selling the OEM ones for Matt? My current ones are only around a year old, but i've been considering ordering another set to hold onto just in case...!

    Clio 182 ECU needs resetting?

Yeah, pre-cat lambda sensor is most likely the cause. Definitley nothing to do with an exhaust / remap. You could always find yourself a friendly MOT tester

Powder Coat colour code for Turini's

As above (thank again hoolio!), reason i asked for the paint code was because they said they can wet spray with paint and then powder the lacquer.

Powder Coat colour code for Turini's

Cheers hoolio. They've already been done once but they were nothing like the original colour. I was devastated when I picked the car up this morning. Thankfully they have agreed to redo them at no additional cost, I just hope they come out ok this time.

Powder Coat colour code for Turini's

BUMP...! Getting mine refurbished and really struggling to find the colour code.. any help greatly appreciated. Edit: Wet paint code is what i'm after if you have that one Cue?
