Have the PS4's on my 130i, they're fantastic, best I've used. Wet grip, especially their ability to cope with standing water is incredible. Only thing that has got worse since fitting them is fuel economy compared to previous Conti SC3's.
This time last year I was looking, pickings were scarce but a fair bit cheaper.
What's more fun than a late summer evening blat down your favourite B-road in a Trophy? :D
Never seen so many Trophy's for sale, eight on Pistonheads alone. Are owners 'cashing out' on the back of some recent 'future classic' features or just getting bored?
Good for potential buyers since there is lots of choice but prices seem to have gone up at least £1k since this time last year.
Pro's on mine, perfect for me - better ride, cheaper than Renault parts and hardly any (if at all) lower. I replaced all four when I found a broken front spring.
Sorry, maybe a little late but I'd recommend a product called Tef-Gel. Used it for years in the marine world and almost certainly would've saved your expensive top mounts, grease isn't much good for Ali/mild or stainless steel fixings.
Really regret selling my 156 GTA, was one of the best examples of a fantastic car. Trying but can't quite justify anotherr, funds/space won't allow it and know I couldn't find one as good as my old one.
Had a pair of these delivered today from Wolverhampton Renault - good price and great service. Don't think my old rears are dead yet but will be changing them as part of the ongoing refresh.
Also, thanks to MarcR who seems to have been a driving force in getting these stocked again.
Bit of advice please guys?
Whilst changing front discs, pads and fluid today I noticed front drivers side spring has snapped. Hadn't noticed any strange handling or noises but obviously it needs replacing.
So, question is which springs do you guys recommend? OEM Trophy, Eibach Sportline or...
For referance I bought one in June for £4600.
69k miles, great history, lovely condition, Sachs done by BG in 2013, 4 owners but belts need doing this year. Standard apart from exhaust.
Probably got it a bit cheaper since it was way down in Cornwall miles from civilisation.
