How long are the replacements people are using?
I've just realised mine are allowing the spoiler to foul the aerial and the roof. Never noticed this before until replacing the crap aftermarket radio today with an original one and having no reception meant I did some digging.

Not noticing a difference is making me think to leave it for a while. They don't seem to be too difficult to change out and money is already tight for car related spending this summer so would be easy enough to do whenever.
So much is made of the front shocks for good reason but I was curious to see how many people have replaced the rears.
My fronts are in need of a refurb so, when I get round to it, contemplating getting the rears done too given they're on over 92k miles.
The cups aren't new but I can't say the sachs are notably under-performing despite one of them being a bit damp. Certainly couldn't say I've noticed a difference when driving hard.
Sachs are needing to come off for a refurb and I have cup parts ready to swap on. My question is should I swap out the rear ones as well to match or is it fine to just put the front cup ones on and leave the original rears in place?

Looks like I'll be needing these done in the nearish future, garage says the front right is very slightly damp.
That along with about £1500 to spend on the bloody Boxster in the next 3 months. Aaarggghhh.
Using the car is what needs to be done. The thought of someone keeping a Trophy wrapped in cotton wool and doing a few hundred miles in a year is depressing.
It's like when you see someone that's done high miles in something like a Ferrari, they get it.
On decent tyres, has anyone ever experienced any that isn't just a hint and then totally disappears?
Now I know these grip like limpets but coming off a slip road there, 5 degrees, soaking wet (good visibility) and properly pushing it to see just how much the front can run wide, feel it...

Goodyears are cheap for what they are so is an extra £50 worth it for 2 of the PS3 XL's?
I've been very happy with the Goodyears but have heard a few folk mention the XL PS3 as offering a much better feel than other tyres, has anyone compared these directly?
I only need to replace 2 tyres just now but am wondering if it's worth changing for better feel or if it's negligible?
The rear calipers on my car were replaced 2 years ago but something seems up with them. O/S pads have worn at least twice as much as the N/S. Just seems odd with recent calipers.
