It's incredible to think that the 182 Cup dampers (weighing in at ~£100/pair) are about x10 times the price of Sach dampers. I mean, they are not x10 better. The Cup dampers do seem exceptionally good value.
7k miles - are you driving flat out everywhere? For outright dry weather grip you should consider Yokohama AD08s. They are meant to be fairly handy in the wet too. My money is on them next time around.
