A price at last, but "possibly for sale"?
It is Frayz' thread so I will hold my horses. I'd like a set but it was with a view to getting decent copies made (if that's possible) so I'm easy.
So what's going on with this? It seems a bit odd to offer a couple of sets, post a link to some crappy copies and then ignore requests for more info???
Or was this just willy waving...............
So Marc did you decide on a price for these? Are you selling both sets? We all know they are rare but we are not mind readers and you must have a figure in mind that you would be happy with?
Has the dephaser ever been changed? It's probably fine but at almost 15 years and n miles may be worth thinking about as it will now have to last another 5 years unless you do another belt change. Engine mounts? Sure I will think of some more.
Ktec racing now have OE quality copies of both in stock or you could try the Triscan units from euspares.co.uk at half the price. The Triscan are manufacturer Renault used by all accounts and the Ktec versions are Triscan re branded, again apparently.
I have excessive road rash on the flare just in front of the rear arch, I suspect because of the extra negative cancer I run. I wonder if these are the answer. Shame you can't buy just the fronts.
The £38 figure is about what it used to be, it was possibly a little more. As discussed earlier that new part number returns the badge with the lugs on the back which fit into holes to T does not have which I would be happy to shave off if the actual design was the same.
Do you know the part number they used? I thought I had found a Renault parts supplier in Germany with them in stock only to have my money refunded several days later as it was N/A. Correct part No. 6025306011 please let us know.
As I mentioned in another thread I have purchased and fitted some new headlamps, i probably jumped the gun as the old ones are still very good and can easily be sorted so if anyone wants them just shout, I'm in Wallingford or Witney if you want to pick up or if you want to arrange pick up.
Both...
And now looking like a more viable option with the development problems with the remanufactured rear springs. If I didn't have a set would almost be a no brainer.
For a novice(?) a dual action machine is often the safer option but a rotary would certainly help with all the small planes the T has. I can't really recommend a particular machine as despite temptation, I am still using a Maguiars machine that is almost as old as the car. As above though, one...
That's a little disappointing as arguably the rears would have a larger market being fitted to a much larger number of cars.
Keep up the great work though.
(y) But that's not the correct version, I Know because I have one, two lugs on the back and the under line is chamfered and not grooved like the original.
Yes, thanks but i've just dug mine out and the numbers are a match as well. That' a shame as the only original ones I've been able to find...
