Thanks Nick. Yes the Museum is fantastic! Hundreds of cracking cars on display. One hall inside is called the red room and obviously all the cars are red from a TR5 to a Countach. Well worth a visit and has a good restaurant too.

Ive owned 3 182s and the only one that had the parcel shelf rattle was my BG. Fixed it with a piece of fuel hose carefully slit open with a Stanley Knife and pushed onto the shelf’s leading edge on the hump that goes over the wiper motor cover. Worked a treat!

As Paul said the new old stock damper market is a gamble considering there is no guarantee they won’t leak soon after fitment. IMO if you don’t have a pair on your T they are best bought and kept to add originality for a future sale while running Mark Fish or OEM cup units.
