Well as my camber and toe was out from the bg suspension service, it was winter and I was to lazy to book it in as work was busy anyway. When they measured them they were Fr left = -1.5, Fr right = -0.5. The steering was well off centre to the left, so it was like boxing with the steering wheel...
Ok, there's good news and bad news. I'll start with the good, so I can delay the inevitable lol. I LOVE these tyres. I fitted them at the beginning of December. I've used them through snow, ice, rain, you name it. They start well from cold for a track tyre. A bit of wheel spin in snow and ice...
If it was me, I would either leave it as it is or buy a new wheel. They only cost just over £100 I believe. I still have a 172 cup wheel and tyre in my garden that needs refurbishing or disposed of. Not worth it though as I wont get the money back if I sold it, so there it stays. Keeps the...
Does anyone have them? I'm not just refering to the strut top ones, I mean the rest that hold up the engine and gearbox. Mark Fish ones would be preferable, but not essential. I'm really wanting these so would like the opinion of someone that has them, potentially to see and feel it in their car...
So Power ranger, at the end of the thread you kindly posted you said you were about to re-torque your sub frame bolts to try and cure this problem. What did you find out? Did you cure the problem eventually?
Ok, I know my front camber and toe is out, as i had the dampers done. I haven't got round to doing it yet due to snow etc. I have noticed a knock while steering. It happens when you turn the steering wheel while stationary, or during low speed manouvering. Its not always in the same position of...
Lots of clios were crashed int the snow, plus your paying for all the other idiots that have crashed their cars and have nothing to do with you. Fair aint it.
I've never used a sequential box, so have never thought about the differences using one. So from what you say, You can't skip gears say from 2nd to forth or vice versa, like i do sometimes. Also, I didn't realise that there are lots of different versions of the Sadev box. The ST75-14 is the one...
Well I do 8k miles a year, so once a year wouldn't be out of the question. but its down to cost. Do you just replace oil and seals or is it more envolved?
I folded the rear seats down today to get my brother's road bike i the rear of the T and noticed that there is a zip at the rear of the back rest of the seat. It is opposite the big metal bar at the back of the boot. I'm thinking that the cover must come off rather simply. Getting it back on...
speakers are screwed in i think. I would love to hear about what you do, as I've been putting off a sq install for ages. I really do want a Genesis Ultimate A4 Amp and Morel Components with a Pioneer P99RS CD
Recently hit 32K. I will get the 36K service done in about 5 months time, when I will be about right mileage wise. Dampers are refurbished, and a brand spanking new set of kumho's are on. I'll probably need another set, when i get the service done lol.
Well I compared the tread pattern of the PE2's with the Kumho's and they are very similar. They seem as good as the michelins in the wet. We should all take it easy in the wet.Bald michelins in the wet are still very scary.
I looked at them again today and 24/26 seems fine after all. First impressions are brilliant, it feels like they should have been on everyone's car from day one. more soon...
I went for hard on the front and medium on the rear. My thinking behind this decision was to make them last a bit longer. I may increase the front pressures a little, as the wall is a bit to flexible looking, if you know what I mean. just from driving 0.5 miles home, I found that they seem...
