Yes, MF took the seat apart at the last service, put it back together, and said that no new parts were needed, just wear and tear. It all worked fine again. but it was back the same after about 1000 miles. So I thought crap, ill leave it.
MF said these were loose at the last service 4k ago. I had a knocking through the steering when stationary. This is becoming a PITA. That's without the seat mechanism not working properly. Anyone else had this?
My bro said there is a similar problem with elises. Either use thread locking...
I'm 5"8 and 14 stone 4lb. I was 15 stone before I joined. I've reduced a lot of body fat, could not tell how much as I have never had it measured. I've also Increased muscle mass too. Its all good. I'm crap at bench, as my upper body in general is rubbish. I'm a cyclist by trade, so that side of...
I've always said that my car doesn't feel like it did when I test drove it. However, that was five years ago. Since then I've learned how to push the car to its limits and I've also discovered honda engined elises. I put it down to this. The R1R's help the back end. I also want STM's and MF rear...
Does anyone know the ACTUAL spring rates front and rear for the T?
I've been searching for a definitive answer for years, even since before it was made lol. Well nearly.
I was wondering about solid top mounts for the rear, as the cup cars have them. Probably not needed, but if I could get some MF ones I'd be very happy. I'm still not happy about fitting koni's on the rear as I have always disliked them, even if the valving is correct. User reports so far haven't...
Not a thread about "Are they any good or Where can I get them". I have just fitted two to the rears of my T. Initial thoughts are that they are better than the v70's in the wet and will wear better too. Obviously better than the PE2's as far as grip is concerned. Will check how they wear on the...
Absolutely, like the Bowler Wildcat/Nemesis or the VW Touareg Paris-Dakar Rally cars. Who would'nt want one of those. 90mph across muddy fields, sand dunes, snow, ice, you name it.
A mate of mine was telling me how his uncle has a lifted ex military defender that they off road in. He loves it. But when you off road, naturally mud gets everywhere. With it being such an old design, everything fails. They have to practically rebuild it each year to keep going. I thought that...
I seriously want this. Take a look. I've wanted one since I was ickle. I know its a kids playing with toys/Mine is bigger than yours. But we are all kids at heart aren't we?

But seriously, what do you reckon?
Does anyone have any experience of...
hoolio, well done. I had the tdc sensor and loom replaced today. Renault diagnosed it with no help from me lol.
£200 with labour and vat. hopefully that will end this.
Spoke to soon lol. It is still doing it. However, at the moment it is still struggling to start, but the does actually start. But I'm getting MF to look at it next week with the 36K service plus belts. I did notice that the interior light was not on. It looked like it had been knocked, but I'm...
