i imagine hes some kind of dealer "gofor" his "reviews" are probably filmed when hes supposed to be doing constructive with the car like taking it to auction or to be fixed / touched up by another dealer etc...
probably got something to do with hand sweat too, my original one melted in the place where it was held the most at 2o'clock (resting your right elbow on the door) and maybe a bit more at 11 o'clock - the bottom of the wheel is fine. i dare say that leaving a white towel over the wheel on hot...

Don't get ripped of by people advertising them as special light weight 182 radios - there's nowt special about them.
It will be coded so make sure you have the code unless your getting it...
‘Arran182’ on CS is the guy to ask about the wheel - never seen an all leather one before though. - i will have a spare melted one soon for a retrim when i get my new one fitted.

Got speaking to a guy in parts at the Renault garage and in passing he mentioned they had a 182 steering wheel in the stores that had been there ages, so I offered him £200 for it and after going away to speak to someone came back and said ok, I thought I would get something back for my current...
Finally found a reasonably priced steering wheel to replace my melted one...
i wonder how many people got theirs changed by Renault? i heard of one being changed as late as october 2011.
this one is dated 2008 so they must have continued production for a while after the 182 ceased production.
this will probably be our next car once the first trade ins come back next year, not impressed with the colour line up with red being maybe the best colour (and i've seen them all) shame the rear spoiler cant be optioned off like the US cars.
as with most "specialist" traders these days it seems like they dont really know what they have. History is everything...cam belt change, dampers serviced etc...
price is "top wack" but for that you need to be able to back it all up - you need to check the paperwork, ask the dealer questions /...
leaking dampers shouldnt make the car sit any lower and little movement when pressed is a good thing - when they go they become bouncy, to be fair the oil on the dampers could be anything thats been sprayed on in that area, unless it was fresh and obviously leaking from the damper (i havent seen...
