is anyone actually buying "alien green" clio 200s...?
i still havent seen any on the road / forums
one or both of my clios needs to go with the arrival of my wifes company car and i'm having fleeting thoughts about getting a green 200
after all its always the special colours that seem to become...
does anyone know the length of the dampers ? (with springs if that makes any difference),
i need to send mine off for a refurb next week and i'm looking for a good box at work to put them in?
cheers/
there's some guy on the Bay selling these all the time...or at least there was a few weeks ago, i've got the standard 182 ff ones on mine with the single rear mat, they match the carpets perfectly, i need a new drivers one though if anyone has one...?
v power ron does have a ring to it now, but son of solo is all all over the place now including x box live....and my blog..

whats this about a clio 250 on the way ? could this be the first of the resurected "gordini" variant badged renaults due 2010....?
or just the usuall unconfirmed rumuors started on CS no doubt...? :D
after all the bad press over the 197's "self destructing" Recaros i cant belive renault went with them on the 200, they would be nice in alcantara though but not the cloth...
i have both and have fixed my R27 ones, the trophys are more comfy and the R27s more firm...
that thing with the gap on the dampers only shows gas loss, not oil loss... so they could be shot but with the gap still.
basically they all need a re-furb at this age.
i should post a video on you tube of mine before they get done...thankfully i dont need to use it.
maybe that would be a good...
i wouldnt bother with the calipers personally...i'd leave that one to the Corsa boys...
the speedline logos were printed originally on the wheel, time and washing fades the print, the stickers seem to be a different colour and bigger that the original logo print IMO.

make sure to ask about and check the dampers. read up on the threads and know what to look for, dont be afraid to ask for £500 off for a re-furb if you think they might be on the way out, which unless they've been done already , probably are.
the tunepoint i had caused the head unit to fail totally, i had to have it changed under warranty, i sold the tunepoint on and didnt try to hook it up again, shame as it seemed like a great bit of kit...some guy over on CS called "denty" used to sell them all the time for £70 new if i remember.
for the cost of the rear dampers ( aprprox £220 pair ) is it worth just replacing these at the same time as getting the fronts re-furbed, im just about to have mine done (22k) and was wondering if it was worth it, they look ok.
