My two winters have been doing a great job today. I can't recommend them enough, especially after being out on the road all day watching everyone get stuck.
Welcome. Nice looking cars, especially the TT.
I'm also looking at a set of AD08s when the spring comes around as I think they'll suit the car. Bit pricey though at around £130 a tyre.
Did you use them in the wet?
Sorry i'm having problems adding to the rest of the post. Basically the GT86 has better interior details such as a white band in the rev counter like the Clio 200, and the aftersales service (for now) over the Subaru and just feels like a slightly better drive. The Subaru not having as good...
I finally got round to driving these yesterday and I have to say I'm pretty impressed. With the GT86 rather than the BRZ though. I drove the GT86 first and pretty much agree with the road testers apart from the power.
The ride is fantastic, much better than the Clio's. It feels firm but it...
That turned out easier than expected. Just gave the speaker cover itself a decent yank. The speakers now sound as they should, no resonance and better quality but a set of better speakers or a Cabass(?) unit wouldn't go amiss.
Now to get the idea past the girlfriend!
Thanks guys I'm giving it a go today. It's not on the inside of the bodywork, just on where the speakers are screwed on to. Not perfect I guess but it's doing exactly what I wanted. :)
Hi gents.
I'm in the process of adding Dynamat to the speaker bins and need help with removing the rear interior. The seats are out to make things easier but short of the seatbelt bolts I can't figure out how it comes out. I don't want to try brute force as I'd rather not break something.
I've...
You really should get something in between first. 1.6 Puma maybe? (I had a 1.7 before mine amongst other things). While the Clios aren't really quick and only front wheel drive, they're certainly fast enough to get you into trouble if you aren't careful.
Build up to it, get your no claims bonus...
So does this mean people will be booking their dampers in even if they don't need doing, just so money can be saved? Especially if they haven't been done for a few years? Mine for instance could do with a bit of powdercoating.
The blue mica on the BRZ looks fantastic, also saw a burnt orange sort of colour on a GT86 today that looked good too.
As much as I really like the 265, my dad has a 250 so I'm sort of getting my Megane thrills through that, plus I'm thinking about giving RWD a go as is the girlfriend.
I know...
Hi everyone.
Me and the other half sat in both of these at the Berkshire show yesterday and really liked them, especially the BRZ. We'd like to test drive them both but they're £27,000.
Basically either a house deposit or the car!
We've been wondering if it's morally right to test drive them...
Welcome. First problem with the ESP i've heard about, they should be relatively unobtrusive. Mine only seems to work when the car is actually sideways. Any chance a past owner has had something aftermarket fitted? (If possible?)
Lovely Rallye by the way
Hi guys.
My gear gaiter fell off some time ago and I've been meaning to find something different to the standard one, so i'm wondering if there're any alcantara ones kicking around, or is it a case of buying a standard one and giving it to an interior trimmer?
To add to that, does anyone know...
