You do loose a dribble of coolant in the process but a few minutes running with the cap off and pumping the top hose is all you need to sort that

My fix was to take my back seats out, problem solved ;)

They do take a fair bit of force to get back into the upright position!

Aye, not to worry, they'll most likely be worth a fair whack more than the cost of the refurb when done so it's not too much of an issue! Although my mileage is on the wrong side of 100k now, I plan on keeping the car indefinitely and eventually just using it for track days / fun outings etc...

Not that I've managed to find, hard to get bits for as the aftermarket recaros seem to be different to Renault spec ones! The price for one base from Renault is nearly as much as getting both retrimmed

If you hit the menu button in Tapatalk there is an option to report and it auto defaults the message to "its spam"

Got the supersports (unsilenced) centre section from a ktec ultra performance exhaust, overall condition is good but obviously has discoloured from a few years use, also included is a brand new joiner to fit it to the standard cat! Looking for £80 collected from Basingstoke

Mine are somewhat different to those, refurbed about 4 weeks ago at BG, cap is flatter and has a torx bit where the nut is in those pics

Mine look this this after my latest refurb from BG, they say they use their own custom double seal valve, so I can only presume that that's a cover designed to seal the valve in, might be worth double checking with BG but I suspect if you remove it the actual valve will be located behind it.

I've been tempted on a few occasions to pick up a spare set, but I just roll on cup shocks at refurb time

Most places will advise that you get them refurbed as a pair as they get dyno tested to match each other, so its more like £940 for a working set! That's if they don't need new adjusters/shafts etc
