As above, snapped one earlier today and a result the bolt on the other stud wiggled itself loose and the cover fell off!!
Whats the technical term for this item so i know what to ask for in the morning, alternatively does anyone have a couple spare they could post me for a few quid etc?
+1 on that.
First thing i do in the morning is fire up CS and CT, and then leave it on all day, i do spent pretty much my entire day at the computer as well!
I think the Renault price for a cambelt kit + fitting, service and 4 new tyres is about £12million, irrc, figures may have risen in the last year or two!
Dave, wasn't me mate! Not been over that side of town for a while, and being a BCOT employee going to QMC might technically make me a traitor? Could of been the elusive black dam Trophy, how many are there meant to be in basingstoke?

Yes he truely is a magician, amazing what some of these guys are capable of with just a few funny shaped bits of metal and a hammer! The dent on my drivers door from the guy kneeing it has completely vanished, and all the little dings on the car are almost invisible, got a push dent in my bonnet...
Indirect Spot!! Iain from DentWizard just arrived to do some dents in my Trophy, said he's just done some for a guy called Jeff, from the south of france, whose back for a bit, and has a MINT condition Trophy..... small word eljeffo!
Also apparently you're rocking a carbon bonnet, you got any...
Yea couple of my mates chatted to her before and rang me up to tell me theyd found a Trophy, she apparently said "im not really a car person" and apparently wants rid of the Trophy for less than £5,000, although when i had a look at it it looked like it had seen better days!
Isnt there another...
The girls is like like T500PHY or something isnt it?? I spoke to her and she said another Trophy lived in the same carpark / block of flats etc, so im guessing thats you!! Wonder who the mystery Trophy belongs too!
PAGANI - I think it compliments the other engine mounts well so I'd give it a go its only like £30 and 20mins of work!!
Ben its a mate of mines, family run business they're all cracking mechanics and I get to use the workshop and their help which makes life along cheaper!!
Managed to get a quick hour down the workshop after work today so finally replaced my smashed up front splitter and upgraded the dogbone bushing! And yes, i know my front bumper really needs a clean and all those nasty bugs removing! Will be on it tomorrow!
Dave it wasn't me and I don't think it was him he's not from Basingstoke just up for the day for a speedd awareness course, there's 2 that live up by the flats opposite QMC though most likely one of them!!
Ben its totally standard, few scratches down to the plastic on the rear bumper and the...
Went to sainsburys for some food then onward home to eat and chill out, looked in my mirror coming off the roundabout and saw another Trophy sneaking up on me, anyway we both pulled over and had a quick chat, turns out it was #459 but hes apparently not on here or CS, took a quick snap (...
As for getting them refurbed contact BG Motorsport at Silverstone, you can post them the dampers OR drop the car off and have them remove and refit for a bit extra, but i think if youre in scotland itd probably pay to post them!
As Dave said, get them refurbed and get some more Trophy/sachs rear shocks, be about the same as a cheapy set of coilovers and just as good!!
As for selling them for £300 im not surprised someones made you an offer, i think replacement sachs dampers are well over £1000 each iirc, not to sure!
^^ This
do yourself a favour and get the sachs refurbed and a replacement set of rear sachs shocks, itll cost about the same as coilovers and a perfectly good Trophy won't get ruined.
