For sale is my beloved Renaultsport Clio Trophy No. 382I have owned No. 382 for nearly 5 ½ years (purchased in July 2009). It’s been my pride and joy ever since I have bought it however I am now selling as it is not getting used as much as it should (always been a 2nd car) and I have a new car...
Ha I did just wanted to double check LOL!
I spoke to him yesterday and yes he said it is most likely the gas cap as it was refurbed at the time when there has been a few failures.
Just so we are clear, gas cap is on the bottom of the reservoir?
Well despite me having my dampers refurbed with new shafts last May it appears that they have failed again!! I shall be calling BG today but has anybody else suffered this and have the been refurbed again FOC by BG?
That is seriously not on. Surely if the dealer has promised you something, and it turns out to be not what they promised, they are in the wrong and your entiltled to compensation etc etc?
You shouldnt be able to move them by hand. When mine fubared it was very soft and lots of sloshing sound inside
Only way really is to have them on a dyno
Mine was a particulary low output one when it was mapped, however when I took it back to JMS for them to look at the car it had a sticking caliper.... which was annoying
Outright speed has not changed, but definitely better lower down in the rev range and it sounds awesome!
Im in Houx Annexe this year, was at Karting nord last year, I saw a few of the cs lot there last year (think its naith with the megane?)
Yeah i dont think its going to be the most comfortable of journeys, plus i have decat and no centre silencer....
De-pinning is not included in that price...
As i understand they generally do not de-pin them anymore without replacing the whole assempbly, they said this is because its far more susceptible to damage when trying to de pin them because of the corrosion etc around the grub screw
I must admit it is very tempting to spend £800 on a decent coilover setup compared to that of a rebuild (quite like the look of 519 spax kits @ £799 i believe).
BTW aurok rebuilt mine about 18 months ago and I have only done around 7000 miles on them, and I have just had them done by BG again
As above really, I had sport lines as well, one Side would not budge at all, the other had about 10mm movement. When I stripped the dampers I still couldn't push the good one down however the buggered one was like jelly
