It must be a french thing, my Peugeot 206 was exactly the same in needing short legs and long arms. As karlos says, it's worth trying to persevere, and play around with very small adjustments until you get it right. It's just a shame there was no reach adjustment on the steering wheel, it...
How could you accuse the 182 exhausts of being non-standard? If you see them next to a car with a modified exhaust you can see how pathetically small and pea shooter like they are.
I had a Peugeot 206gti and wanted something similar but better. I'd liked every RS clio from the ph1 172 so it was inevitable I'd love the trophy. As for what sold the trophy over the other 182's it came down to the colour, recaro's and the reviews the magazines gave regarding the improvement...

I got mine from there, they're an improvement over the standard, but don't exepct miracles, just a bit brighter and a bit whiter.
Cheers for that, I recognise that tight bend from pics by others who have a very good memory of road numbers, I'll ask them which ones and have a little trip down there at some point. The trophy tripods nicely around it from what I've seen.
Me. I stretched myself to buy it so I've not got much left for fuel. It is nice seeing the prices dropping slowly, only another 20p/litre left to fall and I'd be happy.
That's a nice picture, and there's nothing wrong with posting a nice pic of your car, if I had more of mine I'd do the same.
What road was that? It looks very fun.
Are you thinking about the rear brakes on the older 172 cup ? They had an issue that VOSA issued a circulation to test centres about. It was something that in any other circumstances would cause them to fail. Only problem was half the garages didn't know about it so people in the know took...
They do look pretty good, certainly better than putting the bike on the roof. I run PE 2's :D
As for tyres whatever came on the bike, Think thye're maxxis ones.
I just settled for putting mine in the boot. I bought a big ground sheet to cover the boot/seats, and use a strap from the metal loop in the boot and around the frame to stop the bike moving and damaging the derailleur. If I take the groundsheet out carefully it doesn't mess the boot up, then...
Welcome, good choice on the car. The usual on line places - mytyres, blackcircles, etyres are your best best for buying cheaply. Either that or just grap the yellow pages and phone all the local garages, it was a local fitter that were the cheapest last time I had to change.
There was one on CS where they'd retrimmed in leather over the thumb grips, that made the grips look a bit fat. Taking them off and filling them with smaller grips or not at all would be ok I think.
Hopefully you get it sorted. I know you've got to sort things out, but it also sounds like you've been lucky, those badges are pure evil, real car killers. When my dad's wife hit one it was a full bumper replacement. The only advantage from that was that she got a new Renault Laguna splitter...
I'm a bit concerned mine might be on the way out too. unfortuantely it's not showing enough signs and the warranty only has a month left to run. At the top the grain seems to be more obvious than on the bottom.
I know some people have been looking into getting it retrimmed. If I could find...
Great stuff Steve. I'm not longer worried about them ageing, in fact I'm almost considering getting them done at around 50k just to freshen up the car.
