No multichanger fitted, my 172 had one under passenger seat, not checked wiring on 172.

Ah thankyou. I was trying to connect in the one directly below it, there appears to be a connector already in that socket, does this mean ill lose radio station selected on the display screen?

Someone has mentioned this one on here before, has had some paintwork as abit of overspray, front splitter missing.

Thanks Carbon Chaos. Does anyone have a picture of the where it connects to? wires are short so not much room to see whats what, anf the 3 pind connector is somewhat loose in the slot that was empty in the black block so would just fall out when I put stereo back in :-(

Bought one of these cables with red, black, white wire (3 pins). Pulled stereo forward and can see a space in the black block ( configured 3 pins, 2 pins 3 pins). Does it actually connect in here? seems rather loose, or do I need to remove the stereo completely? Or plug in elsewhere?

Its isnt that bad TBH, worst bits are the door handles. Just want to give it a good clean adding a bit of shine and protection against the elements.

Steering angle sensor fault, steeriing wheel or hub or something needs aligning, maybe as a result of the Cat D, no history either hmm...

Yeah, CAT D would put me off, also no history like service book lost so have to assume the worst that nothing has been done. Does have its issues, steering sensor angle fault ?!

Ok chaps thanks, probably not looking to get plastics re-sprayed as not that bad, only door handles really. Ive got an Autoglym valeting case so know Ive got the polish just need to check for other products. Would you recommend the de-contaminating products instead of a clay bar & getting it...

Whats the best technique/product to re-generate/ freshen up & make the Trophy look red again instead of looking faded pink colour? Understand T Cut is not a good idea, machine polish? Mopping? or Turtlewax red colour restorer? Cheers

Im quite consious of agreed value on the Trophy after recent posts. The Current 172 is with Morethan however once that is sold Trophy will be the new daily so looking for a good deal & also piece of mind. Think the T will be a higher insurance group compared to the 172 lol.

Just bought one of these leads from ebay, so hopefully should work on any Trophy? or clio with a CD changer as plugs into CD changer port? :-)

Does make for interesting reading, rare cars now getting even rarer as time goes on. Been keeping an eye on numbers left of my other 2 cars Renault 11 Turbo Phase 1, & Renault 5 GT Turbo Raider.
