Ive owned a 172 Cup as a daily for nearly 6 years, then got a 172 full fat for 18 months, bought the Trophy in December and just recently sold the full fat 172. I have always wanted a Trophy just had to bide my time and get some cash together, similar to the 172 Cup however better and I did love...

I have ordered the black Magnetti Morelli ones for £21.00 delivered, hope they are ok as fed up getting the tailgate bonk me on the head whilst putting stuff in/getting stuff out of the boot! lol.
Ah that is interesting, mine is on a 55 plate & no.414 so thought that early no.'s were on an 05 plate. Have even seen a Trophy last year on an 06 plate for sale on ebay.
SY mate i know it was registered and sold in Inverness by Ness Motors Ltd the local Renault Dealership, first service been done there a year later. Ah so CAT UK Services put on the white sticker near vehicle data label on drivers door shut, Buckinghamshire is not all that far from Watford...
Thanks mate, had a quick look on ebay and found this genuine sensor & type D coolant however could be wrong:

A bit of a random question,-after being shipped from Renaultsport factory in Dieppe was there a central location in the UK that they went to before being distributed to Renault Dealerships up and down the country? Reason I say this is that my Trophy started life in the North, Inverness however...
What is the part no. for this? Does it come with a seal? Not changed coolant yet as bought in December, was serviced/topped up before I bought it. Going to buy some Renault Type D coolant & change it once sensor replaced or issue sorted.
When driving Trophy first thing in the morning it take a while to get upto temperature, when its in the middle of the gauge is then drops to 1/3 way up the gauge, then goes up to halfway again. Is this a faulty temperature sensor? seems ok at the moment, just thinking that in cold weather is...
Lol well spotted mate, better get myself down to specsavers ;-). Seriously though all the Trophy bits have gone, that wont ever be an oe car again as it would cost a fortune to change back...
Sounds a very unique opportunity to get apair ordered for when the time comes to replace the rear Sachs. Any ideas on cost and timescales would be great. :-)
Niceone mate, gotta be done. I always fancied a Trophy myself hence buying mine before Christmas. Some are up for strong money, some more reasonable deals to be had. Enjoy the B road blats, mines on the road next week as my new daily after being a 'driveway ornament' for the last 3 months...
£36.67 is a great price, are they always available? mine were really bad however seem to make more of an effort to hold the tailgate up as weather has warmed up slightly. On the list to buy with a few other bits.
