Thank you all for your help. I ended up finding them looking through a google image search! I’m glad I found them as we need more in circulation to keep the Trophy going. Without replacements the Trophy will be destined for a life behind garage doors.
I’ve also placed an order as now the word...
I asked if there was any difference between the twingo and Clio shocks:
Yes but onlyone difference
“Thé adjust Burton is blocked for réglementation rallye but it is possible unblock this”

When I asked where the stock came from this is the response:
“
The stock is out because Renault Sport have used this to beginning the Twingo R1 in rally”
Not sure what that means!

Has anyone come across this company in France selling new Sachs dampers for the Clio Trophy?

They told me that they are an "original product" but I'm no expert. The images seem to be of the real thing...
Thank you, I’m the same, I always feel I can do a better job but the more I look at it the more I think I’d regret starting it. How long did it take you?

Has anyone attempted to change the belts, pulleys etc themselves? Looks like a pain in the backside to me. I don’t mind a little DIY but am a little apprehensive. Anyone tried it?
I’ve had some quotes between £650 and £850 (with parts) so there’s money to be saved but is it worth doing it...
If you want to drive the thing I can see little point buying a low mileage example. The higher prices are directly linked to the mileage. If you paid top money for a 10k mile car you could never drive it without hurting your investment. Trophy’s will no doubt increase in value over the years but...

I’m pretty sure I spotted a Trophy heading down from Croesyrceiliog down to Cwmbran on the A4042 at 14:40. Didn’t have chance to get the reg.

I'm on holiday but you're welcome to pick mine up if you have no other offers. Could probably arrange for someone to open up the garage. It's in South Wales. #444

For an investor I think mileage, condition and history are the most important factors. An investor will look for a low mileage example and sit on it. I'd bet that after 5 years of little use it'd be in worse mechanical condition than one that had been used over the same period.
I've just spent...
Interesting... it hadn't dawned on me that petrol station numbers would dwindle. I ran a Vauxhall Ampera for three years and can tell you that once faster charging is available giving a 200m + range on a charge your average buyer will shift to electric. Charging at home each night would result...
