You might struggle as the font is not generally available. It was a custom design for RenaultSport that was used purely for the 'Trophy' decal. Hence I'm not sure a full font exists...
The RS2 was a quite limited run and was sold on to a couple of guys to bring back to the market. This was due to happen around (last) Christmas. Since then the guys have realised they are too busy to sort it out, which is a shame as manufacturers and suppliers have been more or less sorted out...
This is an old thread / post hence I don't think the guy is likely to post a reply.
I'm not sure the final result but a genuine 200bhp is going to require more than just an intake manifold like this one. The F4R are incredibly fickle and incredibly difficult to extract additional N/A power...
Sorry to hear that @Rik Perry - but fully understandable. There are a fair few grateful and appreciative members with shiny new dampers as a result of your time, experience and efforts :)
:tonguewink: I'm not biting.
Yep - pretty much mate! I think my Trophy story may soon be coming to an abrupt end and an expensive cube of crushed metal.
You're already doing a great job of that...! :tonguewink:
Reputable specialist every time for me. My first experience with a Renault dealer put me off for life and I ended up having to go directly to Renault UK to get an issue resolved. Apparently I had modified the Trophy by adding Sachs suspension and Recaro Trendlines hence they refused to honour...
Yes, they do seem to be growing increasingly popular, too... It would be a tough call between a Ferrari 488 and my Trophy though. I'd have to think long and hard about that one!
Agree with @hoolio - the T was/is regarded as a B-road warrior whilst the [172] Cup was more 'track focused'. I have to say that, in my experience, the Sachs perform superb on track but really come alive when enjoying some decent-surfaced back roads. Sure, the ride is crashy but I have far more...
I'm disappointed mate. Very disappointed. Very, very disappointed the truth be known... *shakes head* I've heard some terrible excuses for getting rid of the Trophy but that is the lamest excuse I've ever heard... :P
Seriously, good luck with the sale. It's a shame it's being moved on :( You're...
Indeed! I used to head over each year with my old car club (for a week) and we'd pretty much explore the entire island. Real nice place to enjoy the roads and, well, to relax and unwind.
(Sadly I can't find the videos... I probably have them backed-up somewhere but goodness knows where!)
I feel I should get back over there at some point soon! There are some great roads to be enjoyed, including the unrestricted sections on the TT circuit). Some of the back roads will give the Sachs a bit of a battering though!!!!
EDIT: I'm sure I have some vids somewhere... will see if I can dig...
No harm in asking mate - especially with the difference in prices between units and the confusion it's obviously caused. Not everyone has the wealth of knowledge or insight that others enjoy. It's all useful information now that these cars are getting on a bit and things, like alternators, are...
Really? Would never have guessed that fella... :) No, not everyone thinks every part is Trophy-exclusive.
Try reading his (@Gordon 's) post again... he clearly received a different item to what most folk get (or, indeed, what most folk have on their 182's). There's no such thing as a stupid...
