Definitely mate, they aren't expensive and it's easy enough to switch as and when needed. Some folks take their Sachs off through the winter for example (and run the Cup shocks).
Another TrophyTracker update. Added support for searching by VIN on the Find page. Changed the user interface slightly as well to make things a little more user-friendly.

Agree with the above... as much as I LOVE the 182 Trophy, it's a Clio with a few 'trick' bits. You buy it for the exclusivity (and pay a premium for doing so). If you can forego those then any looked-after 1*2 is going to offer similar thrills. That said, I have found the Sachs to be...
The TrophyTracker has been updated again and now allows you to search for a Trophy by registration plate (on the Find page).

The TrophyTracker has been updated and now has a 'Submit' page whereby you can provide information about your Trophy should you wish to do so.

Cheers :)
Hmm, a thought...
@Cue kindly made a suggestion to me earlier that I think is a really good idea. For some daft reason Renault thought that it would be enough to identify a specific Trophy by adding nothing more than a seat sticker. This, obviously, was far from ideal. Perhaps it would have...
Hello there mate!
Thanks - I'm hoping it might prove to be a useful resource as it matures and - hopefully - builds into a meaningful data set. Any information you are willing to share about 407 will be welcomed and greatly received.
Yes, I'm very well thanks and hope you are in fine health...
Jeez, I'm going to be in trouble come renewal time then... currently with Greenlight, no MOT and SORN'd for at least 5 years, and I've been out of work for 4 months... Yup, might be time to move on.
My thoughts, too - I believed there to be more total write-offs (although there could be many more we don't know about). It's great to see that there are Cat C/D and stolen/recovered examples out there and being enjoyed. :)
Thanks mate - I'll keep an eye on the register thread. Cheers!
It's...
In fact, I think I'm going to share the link to what I've got so far. It is an ongoing project and improvements and fixes will be made over time. I'm hoping the website works ok across different devices (I've tested on a few devices).
Feel free to take a look and if you are aware of any errors...
Possibly mate - I'm not at all familiar with the XenForo forum platform. Ultimately anything is possible but I think it comes down to whether or not it is worth the investment of time, etc.
Thanks! Yup, more than a little bit of detective work has been needed this far and I am pretty sure there will be a few mistakes that need rectifying or clarification.
Good points mate, thank you.
One of the reasons [that I forgot to mention] for also putting this project together was due to the fact it might, as time goes on, become increasingly difficult to tie a given example with its unique number. Why Renault did not link number to VIN I do not know... I...
Thank you :)
It will be interesting to see whether or not folks are comfortable sharing their information (or not). Obviously there are no 'dark' or sinister reasons for doing it; it was just a 'cool and fun thing to do'. As a potential buyer I would be interested in knowing if a Trophy had...
Yes - that's a fair point and hopefully would be the case. :)
Thank you, that would be great. :) It would be nice to have (at least) some sort of recorded history for each Trophy, even just basic information as I'm suggesting. I absolutely get where you are coming from in terms of your own...
Indeed - and that is ultimately the dilemma! I'm all for transparency and honesty, but I'm not an unscrupulous seller trying to milk money out of unsuspecting buyers...! :ROFLMAO:(y)
Thanks for the feedback / reply. :)
Some of the information gathered has been through the freely available MOT / tax check. I had looked into retrieving this information automatically by connecting to the DVLA website but, whilst the information is free to view, it is not free to access for...
I wasn't sure whether or not to post this as I expect there may be differing views and opinions as to whether or not it's a good thing... Let me explain.
This website is a fantastic resource for information pertaining to these awesome little cars. One of the best sections, I feel, is the Trophy...
Pretty much what @Cue said... I have the more capable car in terms of the Porsche GT4 but it doesn't dilute the fun I get from driving the Clio Trophy. Leagues apart in terms of performance and ability, and only a fraction behind in terms of outright fun and smiles.
I don't find the Trophy too...
I was surprised that the EP3 Type-R ranked so highly. Don't get me wrong, I still own one now and l love it... obviously there is still love for it out there in the voting PH community. I won't lie, I'm quite happy with my small trio of cars. :)
