Average is approx 12 - 15k a year so 12/13K is really low, esp as most are nearly 30 months old.
Most you see are high 20/ 30K motors.
Yours being 05 is very low. (trophy) (tupw)
Most will of been on a track at some time in there life & would not worry about this.
If you don't track it chances are previous owner will of :-w :-#
I know of several that this is the case & new owners are none the wiser
Hello,
First, i have a fantastic relationship with my Renault service centre so mine would never go anywhere else. They have replaced all the usual faulty parts & more without any worries. They also trust me when i say a part needs replacing, so when Neal fitted my brakes & noticed a weak...
^^ the weight of the standard exhaust is a real shock!
The ex & ind kit have totally changed car for the better, revs freer & stronger esp high up the rev range.
1. standard car with improved front brakes.
2. un-pinned dampers
3. track wheels with R-rated tyres
4. camber change (-2 degs front)
8. mark fish lowering springs
Wouldn't bother with the rest.
You forgot, free flow exhaust & induction kit...
The difference as you call it, is very noticable.
Not on a quick test drive but day to day on 'b' roads.
I had 172 & mates had 182's & they all agree the tomato is the best for our roads by far.
In the dry a 172 cup is as good if not better if you compare prices & what you actually get, but...
Im old compared to some :D
I waited a year to 'improve' mine & wished afterwards i'd done it as soon as i got it. So for me the brakes, induction & exhaust would be a must do.
Esp the brakes they transform the car overnight, it's amazing how much you can take out of anothers cars lead when...
^^ its covered but this is common.
They all leak round the bolts etc.
If they are doing it, you must have a new cambelt & accessory belt done at same time!
If it's not bad i would live with it.
^^ you can service it where you like, but warranty work has to be done at the stealers :D
My local Renault are spot on, phone them up. Tell them i need this or that doing, parts are ordered jobs a good one.
You must have crap agents near you lot!
Wife wants me to have R26 or 197 next. =;
Think cupped 197 in white, red or nimbus is maybe edging it.
The 20kg saving of the cup against loosing all the toys don't weigh up
Yes, the exaltos are fantastic on road & handle wet & dry conditions equally well.
Yet on track the sidewalls are too soft & you end up with a headless mich man & excessive tyre wear.
They are great on a wet track :D
15 inch wheels give a better range of tyres which are also a lot cheaper.
Wheels; i got a set of 15" OZ F1 from a mk1 172 as offset is perfect.
Should be able to get a set for £100 without tyres easy.
4 X 195/50/15 toyo r888 to me @ under £250
Brakes, Yozzasport do a kit, SS lines, Ferrodo DS2500 & brembo high carbon discs £190.
Should see...
