My 10p worth as i've had a T & 197 cup.
I tested a 200 cup with extras, done 4,300 miles.
After much persuasion the dealer allowed me to take car with salesperson to some of my favourite stretches of road & not the quick down the by pass.
I could not really tell any difference on the gearbox, or...
Jules yours is a tiny blow in, not a fecking front end, or rear end
I mean you ask the seller they say mint, you get there painted, not good.
By the way 40k 55plater on PH £6200, reality check :(
I ran my 197's tyres about 4/5 psi less than book with no problems, possibly due to stiffer sidewalls.
The grip is fantastic so much so i spent several weekends on my local route pushing more & more.
Wait till you have taken the glaze off the tyres the grip is just emense.
So out the box your impressed with the tyres, they will only get better.
The turn in you talk of is also due to stiffer side walls.
I like you never had any problems & i did 5,000 miles & 2 trackdays.
I will defo be...
The rs2's are in a different league to nomal road tyres in the dry.
In the wet on par with most.
Track use was very impressed as also have set of speedlines with r888's.
Not got the ultimate grip of 888's but don't get the 'landy rumble' either
They seemed to last well which is good =D>
Hows things with you?
House is on market as we want bigger, so long as i get my double garage i'm happy.

I run Rs2's on my 197 Cup have done for 4,000 miles inc 2 trackdays.
Stiffer side walls but hardly any extra road noise, unlike r888 that sound like a tractor.
Dry grip is off the scale compared to conti 3's, parada spec 2's etc etc, wet grip is very good also.
Did Donington in July & had...
Thats 1/3 the price renault would charge.
Sounds cheap to me.
Only other option is to have the box rebuilt, but it they encounter probs a new box will still be needed #-o
