Re: Tommy Tomato No' 187 £9450 ono
Now taxed till Feb 09.
Aux belt & tensioners replaced & cambelt & tensioners. (Aux 36k or 3yrs, Cam 72K or 5 yrs)
So Tommy won't need an expensive belt visit to a garage for at least 3 yrs.
Right as an owner of a Trophy for the last few months we have all seen the horror stories surrounding the front dampers & the costs from the stealers involved in replacing them.
Whilst looking into the dampers, you soon realise why they are 'so' good. Not your usual bolt on upgrade, but top...
First of all calm down.
The dealership it's not Sun### is it, if so i'm not supprised your not getting anywhere. I got told the steering wheel crumbling on a year old 172 was fair wear & tear. Yet L'boro swapped it as soon as they saw it :D
You need a second opinion on the damage as customer...
Well time has come to part with Tommy. For me a car addict Tommy was my cure, no longer do i feel the need for a different car every few months.
Having owned 187 for almost two years i believe i'm cured :D or grown up
17,000 miles
1 previous owner.
FRSH inc coolant & brake fluid...
Stick to PE2's as standard.
R888's in 15's is the cheapest option.
Noisy, turn in is unbelievable, grip is emense, fine in damp don't like standing water.
Parada spec 2's would fall to bits trying to compete with R888's.
Well seeing as there is a CAT D on pistonheads for £8K, got to be worth £9-10?
I'm also thinking what to do at present, i'm on 16,000 miles, with a few choice extras.
I have mine serviced as per schedule 12k or 2 years.
But also change oil & filter every couple of thousand miles as i get it FOC.
Also replaced brake fluid & coolant as i thought it needed doing.
Not bad seeing as only on 16K after almost 3 years.
Oxygen sensor in CAT, think this is what tells ECU regarding mixture.
How long have you not used your car for?????? Any petrol will loose it's octane if left for a long time.
Ie; a lawn mower left over the winter is crap until you put fresh fuel in.
