I think the tyres play a part in this, when I was on Hankooks the problem disappeared. As soon as I changed back to Michelins the problem came back.

eljeffo, I seem to remember that coming up on a driving course I was on. The regs are so old that there are some funny bits in it; you indeed do not need any lights on in street lit <30mph zones iirc.

The clio steelies are 14'' ( i think, its been a while since I've handled one) and won't clear the brakes.

I will be on 195/50/15 Dunlop m3 sport winter tyres. Looking forward to trying them but the temp hasn't really dipped below 10degC yet

My problem turned out to be a rear ABS sensor. Second hand unit from Cliospares for £40 seems to have sorted it.

They have big side bolsters so they hold you in position quite well. not great for posture though

BTM don't make them. JP Exhausts in Macclesfield do. Fred from BTM assisted the design and until now asumed the role of stockist for the Yoz. I assume he has decided the constant hassle is not worth it and KTR have taken over the responsibility. A good thing I suppose, makes them easier to get...

True, I find I have (slightly) less back problems with the Trendlines though.
