I think standard/less modified Trophy's are holding their value well, I would have thought by now the depreciation should have leveled off and should start increasing in the next few years or sit where they are for a while.
?
Useful read that Liam and does sound exactly what is happening to Dave. I'm going to give mine a grease up now, i've had mine on a while now and no issues yet.
Hi Dave,
Can you be sure it is the spring which has moved and not the spring seat. If you try and over tighten the top mount the spring seat will move, i think this is normal, i've noticed this on mine anyways. it is strange how it has moved in the first place, it may just need re-seating. Is it...
As far as i'm aware, new bushes and ball joints did stop the knocking, I just used standard Renault parts, not had a problem since. Jeez that was 3 and a half years ago, seems like yesterday!
I really wouldn't give a toss about what anyone else thinks Marc. You wanted them stickers and you got them in the end, that makes you a winner not a loser.
You remind me of Andy Dufresne off The Shawshank Redemption film.
Haha! That's a nice Pig you have there. I keep them for eating like yourself, I only started keeping them last year, I get 2 at a time to keep each other company. It's more of a hobby, I love the little things they have loads of character and they're such a laugh, it's sad when the times comes...
Ah yes of course. i thought maybe you wanted to shift that winter fat, less weight more speed and all that...
Let me know what day you're going and i'll have a day out if i'm not busy, i'll fetch a seat with me this time, and some lunch.
I'll be either in the workshop or in the hills all this summer, if you ever want to meet up and go for a walk i'm up for that.
I wish i had enough money to start a car collection. I'm saving up hard now for a house which is another reason why not much has been done to the workshop. Very...
The Concrete went in last year some time, I’m really happy with the finish, it was smoothed over with a concrete smoother.
Even the hen loves it. (this is Eggbert II, she is lonely because her sisters were eaten by a fox last year, as a result she likes to follow me around EVERYWHERE!)
This...
It’s been a while since I’ve updated this but unfortunatelynot much progress has been made over winter, the workshop has mainly been usedto store some things over the winter months.
When I was in the marked for a new exhaust I was torn between the RS192 and the Yozzasport. I had the RS192 for 2 years and I just fancied a change. I enjoyed the RS192, it was a nice system and sounded lovely, it took a while to line it all up correctly and I also had to pack the hangers in...
The decat makes a big difference to the noise level, my old Scorpion RS192 was nice and quiet, until the decat pipe brought it to life. My Yozzasport was pretty loud to begin with but what a noise it makes now with the decat pipe! Inside the car the decat made it alot more boomier in certain rev...
You have PM.
I've had the PS3's on for a while now and after getting used to them they are a good tyre, however, I think i prefered the PE2's, shame really.
D4VP-C - Do you live anywhere near cumbria? Pretty sure i've got 2 spare PE2's with plenty of tread in the workshop, I went the whole hog and bought 4 PS3 even though the 2 rear tyres were quite new.
You're absolutely right, as I found out a few weeks back when I caught the rear wheel on a curb, a flake of paint completely came off and it looks awful. 3 years and not once did I curb the alloys, some weeks after a refurb and then it happens!
100% honest
I declare everything, even down to the wheel bolts, it costs me £0 with Greenlight :D
If someone crashed into me and their insurance company found out that they hadn't insured something on their car and decided not to pay out I would have to claim off my own insurance which would...
