On face of it the price seems to be in the right ball park.....and the 100k number is still a big barrier to a lot of potential buyers. To the right buyer a 91k car will last them a long time before rolling over
Just the tense in which it's all written, the seller is not the current "owner" it's not personalised enough, plate has gone with car as it's only any good on a Clio, seller trying to squeeze an extra few quid out of plate like the recent T PHY sold by a dealer who sold it as an extra to the car.
Open the door and you will see a 1/2" round bung on the back of the trim piece below the door lock catch. Pull it out. Look into the hole and you will see a 5mm peg which is actually attached to the trim but clicks through a hole in the door skin, with a small screwdriver press that peg through...
I remembered today that I hadn't taken the side mouldings off the Trophy. Well an hours effort with screwdriver, masking tape, soapy water, scrubbing brush and wax and all back together with 12 years of road muck gone.

That should sell easily enough I reckon. Good advert. Nice car with just a few bits left to keep new owner occupied. GLWTS

I've been wanting to get the car finally finished off for a while. The only thing I had left to sort was the engine bay. The inner wing fuse box had annoyed me from day 1 having a broken locking clip. Also the plenum, fuel rail guard and the engine mount any alloy block on the drivers side...
I've only just brought mine home after storage for 5 months. Now got the engine bay in bits and away at the vapour blasters. [emoji3][emoji3]

some of you will have seen my post a few months ago about finding a company who replaced the B pillar sticker.
I brought the car home from its storage today as I've got a few little jobs to do on it. (New engine bay fuse box, some vapour blasting of engine parts, some new door mirror caps to...
Obviously mileage is a factor but service history adds to value and there is the thing with the Sachs dampers. If it has decent history, good bodywork, wheels etc and the Sachs are good/have evidence of refurb in last few years then you are probably looking at £6.5k
I've ended up buying a play 3. It was for a family comfy seating area in an extended part of the kitchen or "the snug" as it's been christened !
The 3 is truly amazing with great sound all the was from good base to crisp top range. I've spent a fortune on hifi speakers back in the 80s, Kef...
Hoping you have enjoyed the Trophy Daryll, we all move on for different reasons. I've enjoyed the conversations we've had on the way to you finding a car and during ownership. Good luck with the new motor.
Ah, didn't get that far!
That's mad £1500! Love the ad ....."Complete car except" ........just about everything, and the guy who jumped on with "I have a Trophy engine"!
I suppose the Sachs and the spoiler would add up to about a grand if they are right. That's really all it's worth buying...
