Yes both payments @Crook #73 & @Mossyv6 have cleared and decals have been ordered. Sorry for the confusion everyone!
@BenG could you please change my email address in the earlier post so it reads davidspeck@ymail.com Thanks
Hi Elliot
The decals are made to order as I have the ability to reproduce your original serial numbers on them. If you can get these numbers let me know - if not I can use some that I have used before. £12 per pair inc P&P Leadtime is around 7-10 days.
Can also do the rear ones as well (same...
Hi if you can keep them until next week I will take them off your hands. I'm in need of a good rear seat base and dependant on the amount of fluffing on the back rest that will do too. Also despite my best efforts with a heat gun my front door cards could do with replacing. I'll message you to...
@Saint27 , i tried to order from Renault earlier in the year and as @dablk says they are no longer available. I ended up getting some from Spray Shack. They are bolt on and they sprayed them for me with stiple type effect so they look like the genuine textured plastic ones.
Well let me first apologise for not keeping you updated on progress with #338.
Last 3 months have been eventful to say the least. As you might have read elsewhere we snapped the aux belt (clean snapped rather than shredded so no damage to the cam belt). Replaced with a genuine Renault one...
code is Ixell 205-110
I believe there is no powder coat of that colour. The way wheel clinic Northampton did it for me was to wet spray the colour and then powder coat the clear lacquer.
I wouldn't consider anyone but Rik. From what everyone else says BG do a good job, but charge way too much because they are "official" and put you a nice new sticker on. Rik also does a good job, no actually a great job, and is very helpful and accommodating with it. The major benefit though is...
Still got issues with this and looks like we are going to get a specialist to take a look. At the same time we are going to have the timing belt, and water pump replaced. I phoned Mick @ Diamond and the earliest he can fit us in is 25th May! Based in Banbury there aren't too many options that I...
Looking for help please. Weve changed the aux belt, tensioner, and idle pull (genuine kit from Renault Wolverhampton). Everything seemed fine. Then 10 miles down the road the tensioner is rubbing on the belt as it comes of the power steering pully. So ordered another new belt (air con version)...
And within the people on here (me included) we have Sachs decals to make the 182 Cup shocks look like the Trophy version at considerably less than the £140 difference!
My insurers have agreed an "agreed value" policy. In order to qualify I need to submit 6 current photos ( no problem) and a signed valuation from a garage .Tried my local Reno dealer - useless! Question is where to go to get this done - willing to pay for the service but based in Oxfordshire and...
Hi Everyone, sorry it's taken so long to get back to everyone - work seems to have got in the way! Can anyone that wants decals please advise me the serial numbers and quantities of front and rear they require. Payment can be made via PayPal davidspeck@ymail.com
Thanks
David
@HoddenHussar if you are interested I can make you reproduction ones of your originals with your original serial numbers.
There is s thread all about them on the "for sale" section.
@knocker @Peter O'connor if you both don't mind making arrangements I will gladly give it a good home please. Pete I will arrange with you once you have it.
Not exactly the same but just replaced the boot central locking motor/solonoid tonight on #338. Seems central locking solonoids are a common problem on Reno's. The boot lock was little bit easier to get to than the door one will be. Plenty of options for both items on ebay.
Hi, and apologies for the late reply. I'm ready to start taking orders for the repro sachs decals. If everyone that wants a set (just front, just rear, or front and rear) drops me a message with your serial numbers, I will confirm back to you with payment details. I would ideally like to get...
There is always a few on ebay - which is where I got mine from. However beware they are a devil to fit. I ended up loosening the starter motor and trimming the length of the clips so I could slide it on from the solonoid end past the solonoid to motor wire. Good luck!
@Big Dave I bought it from a guy Hinkley way who breaks 182's. It's in good condition and even had most of the fixing screws still on it. There are a couple on ebay but as ever collection only. I spotted the one I bought on FB. Right place right time. If you are on FB then worth posting a...
