***322 is now SOLD - Took a deposit from a nice chap from the Midlands this morning***
I'm sure he'll be along to say hello in a few days once he's picked her up (trophysmall) ...........
Thanks for all your PM's and emails.... I've had 2 phone calls since I sold her 2 hours ago. I'll still...
Hey Buddy!
Good to hear from you.... Bad timing by me I think #-o.
If we didn't need the money for our new venture we'd be keeping the Trophy until our final days......It's a bummer it has to go but needs must i'm afraid.

Hi Guys,
I've used various products over the years but what do you find is best for cleaning your alloys?
Like my old Cup, i find the wheels on the Trophy very fiddley to clean between the spokes but am reluctant to spray with some of the chemicals i've used on regular alloys in case it takes...
What are peoples current thoughts on the Trophy's Steering wheel?
Thankfully mine still looks OK but i'm aware that many with a few more miles on have suffered from excessive 'melting' and the thumbgrips start to split and perish. I had this with an old 172 Cup.
So, what are the current...
Fair price considering the service history.
I would have been interested in this car at that price (or close to with cheeky offer :) ) when i was looking recently.
Much interest yet?
The Elise was a great car but we tend to buy and sell quite frequently just to experience different things - My 'Toy' at the time was a Noble M12.
The Trophy is great though and i like to get out in it as much i can too...... We're packing her up and going on a roadtrip to Spa/The Ring in June...
Next time you see her, flash your lights and give her a wave.... I'll warn her you may do this and she'll look out for you!
She doesn't post on here but is very much into her motors...... She's a regular on the track too and has even got a few laps of the Nurburgring to her name (but that was...
Then that would be Hales my lovely wife!
She drives the twisty lanes between Whitchurch and the Oswestry every weekday..... She doesn't hang around either!
Are you in a Trophy too?..... I'll get her to look out for you and give you a wave!
Just to add my opinion....... (tdown)
These cars are rare and shouldn't be molested....... Be prepared to pick it off again if you ever want to sell it!
I'd NEVER buy from a dealer unless it was a new car.
As people have said..... Private you can often trace the history right back to the factory.
At a risk of upsetting people, i'd say buying second hand from a dealer is usually the domain of the thick . Overpriced and often a polished...
I purchased my Trophy recently (55 reg, 27k, Immaculate, shocks referbed, Aux and Cam belts done, new upgraded brakes) and was prepared to pay big to get the right car.
Lets just say i did and it took it took 6 weeks of badgering an enthusiast owner to sell it me......... I travelled 250 miles...
I thought you'd be happy with the service.
Steve's a great guy and that little van is a nice piece of kit.... suprisingly nippy really! (Bloody speed limit beeper on the dash  )
Hi Mate,
You were booked into Birchdown last week weren't you..... How did you get on?
I got my boot solanoid done there on Weds and the service was spot on as usual..... Steve was by himself last week too :D .
Hope all went well.
CJ
Hi,
There is a great RS specialist within an hour of you called 'Birthdown Autos'..... They're based near Whitchurch Shropshire and is run by a couple of guys who used to be Renault Main Agents. I'm booked in there next week as it happens 8)
Google their website or call 01948 860 335.

Hi Guys,
Just a quick one.
The boot one open on the Trophy.
I press the central locking button on the key fob, the doors unlock fine but when you press the button the boot (in the renault badge) in just stays 'solid' and locked?
What could this be? Anyone had the same?
Let me know.
Cheers...
