I went through a stage of leaving the back seats out, that way I had a good reason not to play taxi driver, but the exhaust was loud on long journeys it actually made my ears ring for a good few hours after I stopped driving.

The headlight washer caps are not cheap!!! I though they were but after talking to Reno as mine were broken as some numb nutts wanted to steal them, they cost £180 for the pair!!! #-o

Why do they need to get to the clock/display area? I would have thought that if you were connecting an interface box to use the existing steering wheel controls, this would connect in to the connector at the back or the stereo? Or are you trying to use the display to output information? If so I...

Mines failed too, both on the T and my previous 172 Cup. I haven't bothered to replace mine on the T as they fail again, just made my own mount consisting of a cable tie and some tape!

I remeber when I had my 172 Cup it would have failed, but Renault released a document that you could take to the MOT center which explained about the brake bias and they would pass it.

Does the speed limiter work? Does it allow you to set the speed? If not then could it be the steering wheel controls that are playing up?

the easiest thing to do is drive a TDi to see what they drive like.
