I would like to put a bike on the roof of mine, just not sure if the roof of the Clio can hack it or not... Mind you seeing the size of the thing on his roof it shouldn't be an issue! :D

Without the shorter struts the boot will open up and stop when the top of the spoiler touches the edge of the roof. I guess you could hold onto the boot if you open it so it doesn't rest on the roof, or but the struts. I don't think they are expensive, I would go for these as it would save you...

Nope, not normal at all. It should only fully disable if you press the 'O' or hit the brake pedal, or flick the cruise control/speed limiter switch to OFF.

When you get near water, do you roll it over and leave the car attached!? :) What rood bars do you have BTW? you had any issues putting stuff on the roof?

Reno dealers do them for £125. They maybe the only place you can source them. Alternatively try some KONI shocks...

I used to own an LCR225 and I used to miss my 172 Cup so much, as soon as my dad started to think about selling the T I instantly wanted to sell the LCR and buy the T. Since then, other cars haven't really compared to the fun factor of the T. Just got back from a weekend in Wales and the T was...

The shock itself will be all black and will look as if its been leaking oil. You will notice it as soon as you remove the wheel if there is a leak. If you reach behind the wheel and rub the back of the damper with your hand, you maybe able to feel the oil if there is any.

I'm heading up there this weekend for a long weekend with the GF. Anyone know of any decent roads around there that I may accidentaly have to take a de-tour too... :wink:

No, this is not a feature of this model. I think the newer Mk4 has this on some models.

Got the new mounts fitted and found it was still knocking against the bumper! So I bought some M10 nuts and cable tied them in and its no longer knocking! :) Sounds line a smoother car now the knocking noise is no longer in the background.

If it was a temporary thing, I would bung some sup shocks on there, keep an eye on eBay and then replace them with Sach ones when you come across them. Can you not use the car for a bit and save the money you would put towards the cup shocks towards Sach dampers? Either way I would return the...
