Looks like the auction sale fell through on the 205, now listed on eBay:

It looks like it knows its way up Harewood... A lot of the pics of of the hill, and its got the circuit outline on the hatch...

Just trading the spec Ed, sounds like its ideal for what you were going to do.

Just curious as well, ad says it has drums on the rear, not discs?

It'll be a great car for someone to have a go with I agree Francis.

I was confused by the rear brakes too, as I was sure the 1.9's had discs. Some early 1.6's had drums if I recall correctly, so perhaps someone's stuck a 1.6 beam on it at some point of it's life? Or it's intentional to create a distinct front brake bias for competition work?

I'll be honest, it's way beyond my self imposed budget at the £10k they want for it though and I've done some digging on the times it's been posting on the hill. It's a good 10 to 15 seconds slower than a well driven and sorted Clio 182, so it's not going to be that competitive in class in my view.

I know my way better around the Clio's these days too, and let's be honest, they are a much quicker car with less effort and expense needed which is why I've gone in that direction. It was either that or another classic Mini Francis... ;) :D
