Does anyone have any experience with the security alarm?
I’ve swapped the battery and the key batteries but it’s still going off after about 2 hours from locking the car.
I get 4 blinks when I unset it which suggests an ignition tamper in the handbook.
Any common faults and fixes?
Got to be something to do with taking it apart for thr respray!

Try the alarm sensor under the bonnet, It's on the right hand side of th slam panel. See if you can push it up from underneath, if you can that's more than likely the problemDoes anyone have any experience with the security alarm?

Bonnet switch seemed to be ok. I’ve isolated the interior sensors using the 2 turns of the key technique. No more alarm going off.
Can’t find replacements online. Shame.
Paint job is mega. Really pleased.
Just washed after yesterday’s drive into Wales.
Very very wet!
