That Golf Rallye is still alive. Has road tax but mot just expired.... mileage last MOT 246k km. I replaced the 16v with a Corrado VR6. Felt a proper step-up. Amazing burbly engine.

The one I owned (around 1997) was identical to this. Photo below... even back in the day, it never felt that quick, looked nice though.
