    Trophy on the Hill.

Looks like it was being chased by the police! Do you know anything about the car Ed? It doesn't look like it's running Sachs, and has a roll cage..

Rik Perry Sachs Refurbs - Missing Dampers?

Patrick, you've hit the nail on the head. Based on the evidence presented thus far, this sounds like a criminal act - theft.

    Wanted! 182 Trophy Sachs Dampers

I think we have crossed wires? Ethan - you wanted front Sachs dampers? If so, you can't buy them new anymore. When you could they were circa £1500 ea.

    Wanted! 182 Trophy Sachs Dampers

Hi Ethan - I'm sure if you keep asking on here and elsewhere (Facebook Clio Trophy) you'll get a paired perhaps relatively soon. I know it's often considered sacrilegious putting anything but Sachs on a Trophy, but there are aftermarket dampers that may be worth a look. Some would say these...

    Road Trip Research

Hi Pete - I think the number plate says it all :ROFLMAO: . It's a curious car, the rear is almost a mirror of the front. Curiously ugly? How about my configuration? I won't mention wheel colour ;) https://porsche-code.com/PTQKCCX1

    Road Trip Research

Hi Pete Wow, the new Targa. Handsome machine, perhaps even handsome(r) with silver wheels? I watched Tim Rodie's review, link below. He rather liked it :) I think the A110 is my favourite modern car. I had a weekend test drive in a GT just over a year ago. Wasn't perfect, nothing is...

Interested to see how much this makes

Thanks Ed. Just looking online now, the jump from 1.6 to 1.8 saw marginal increases - 110 at 5600 to 112 PS at 6100 137 at 3200 to 150Nm at 5000 I recon this change has parallels with the Mk2 when it went from 8v to 16v? More power but higher up the rev range...

    Cool Thing

I agree Nick, the red bumper trim would make it look more 'sporting'. It does appear to be in very good condition. I'm not so keen on the colour, I prefer a brighter hue like red or Miami blue.

That Golf Rallye is still alive. Has road tax but mot just expired.... mileage last MOT 246k km. I replaced the 16v with a Corrado VR6. Felt a proper step-up. Amazing burbly engine.

Immaculate Trophy for sale Evoke Classics

Hi Ed - that looks like a brand new PMS? Is this your 'back up'? I think my preference would be the 3" straight brushed finish. I believe Frayz went for this on this orange 182? Mark

    On the workbench today…

Just to follow-up on the Renault exhaust. Mick was telling me he has a friend who fairly recently bought a new 182 system from Renault (it was £2k+) and was blowing out of the rear box from the start. Renault initially tried to say it wasn't covered by their warranty, but finally replaced it...

Good wash mitt / drying towel

Many thanks Andy. I wonder how many people use an Air Blower to 'dry' their cars? Starting from about £75 they are more expensive, but perhaps not in the longterm? I bet @NickReilly063 has one?
