Hi Ed - following your email above, I've just spoken with Jane at BG who once again confirmed they have EVERY part (including shafts) except the damper body. If you doubt me, feel free to call her. Mark
There's a red theme going on here, even the sliders are red?!
I like the Clio. Your Rallye's last MOT was 2018 with 168k miles, I guess somebody loved it.
I'd be nervous having tyres fitted by ATS, or any other well known outfit. Whilst fitting/balancing tyres on paper seems a very simple act, the majority of fitters do it with little care and attention. Even so called local/regional 'performance' places are mediocre at best. I'm yet to find a...
Wow - what a peach (or orange)!
Whilst I like the look of the 'S' if I was to get one I think I would be looking at the slightly softer base model. I do like the R though....
Hi Ethan - I'm sure if you keep asking on here and elsewhere (Facebook Clio Trophy) you'll get a paired perhaps relatively soon. I know it's often considered sacrilegious putting anything but Sachs on a Trophy, but there are aftermarket dampers that may be worth a look. Some would say these...
Hi Pete - I think the number plate says it all :ROFLMAO: .
It's a curious car, the rear is almost a mirror of the front. Curiously ugly?
How about my configuration? I won't mention wheel colour ;)

Hi Pete
Wow, the new Targa. Handsome machine, perhaps even handsome(r) with silver wheels? I watched Tim Rodie's review, link below. He rather liked it :)
I think the A110 is my favourite modern car. I had a weekend test drive in a GT just over a year ago. Wasn't perfect, nothing is...
Thanks Ed.
Just looking online now, the jump from 1.6 to 1.8 saw marginal increases -
110 at 5600 to 112 PS at 6100
137 at 3200 to 150Nm at 5000
I recon this change has parallels with the Mk2 when it went from 8v to 16v? More power but higher up the rev range...
I agree Nick, the red bumper trim would make it look more 'sporting'.
It does appear to be in very good condition. I'm not so keen on the colour, I prefer a brighter hue like red or Miami blue.
That Golf Rallye is still alive. Has road tax but mot just expired.... mileage last MOT 246k km.
I replaced the 16v with a Corrado VR6. Felt a proper step-up. Amazing burbly engine.
Hi Ed - that looks like a brand new PMS? Is this your 'back up'? I think my preference would be the 3" straight brushed finish. I believe Frayz went for this on this orange 182? Mark
