    my m8 is a mechanic and usually tests balljoints by checking for play on the roadwheel. this doesnt work on 182s cos they are so stiff. only till he moved the joint with a pry bar did it move and make the creaking noise that i hav listened to for the past month. my car has 29k on the clock and...

    had it in at a garage and all they cud find was the top mount bearing, which i knew about and already had the part. needless 2 say the creakin is still there, but the strut doesnt rub on full lock! how much are the ball joints m8? and how much would u want for labour? , regards.
