Agreed. I ran my BG on Nankang NS-2R with Turini wheels as at the time it was the tyre of choice.
To to be honest I wasn’t impressed and any level of extra grip was negligible over a MPS 3!
Swapping to 15” gives you more options and better road holding

I had 30 fantastic years in various cars and if you don’t get too serious(which costs a lot of money and time) you can have a fantastic hobby through the summer months.

After 30 years of Hills and Sprints my cars were always turned out in what some would say to good to race.
Polishers and Racers can rub along nicely.
I caught the Hill/Sprint bug in the early 90s with my Jaguar Kougar which fell into the sports libra class.
Big bucks required to do well in this segment of trailered race cars, but enjoyed the experience for a couple of seasons with a road legal car.

To be honest with the current state of our UK roads right now she is the best car I own.
My small car collection will be having a re shuffle this coming year.
I can vouch for Shaftec as I fitted a couple to my BG. If I can remember they are on an exchange basis so you have to send your old one back afterwards
Probably our best trumpet blower Harry Metcalfe mentions during his excellent video that Renault were all set to paint the Trophy in white but bottled out at the last minute!
