Side skirt stickers, within lacquer or above

Hi all,

Before the car gets painted and while the car is being stripped I'm trying to work out how the side skirt stickers were installed by Renault.

Did the factory apply them above the paint or did they fit the stickers and then lacquer over them.

Fitted onto the sills after painting Mike. Not lacquered over.

Mine is the extra lightweight version, so no stickers
