Has anyone experienced an ABS and Service Light errors? Garage diagnostic showed error code DF058. Garage suggested replacement of ABS Pump module. Having replaced the pump and resetting the fault, the light has reappeared. Garage is now suggesting that the replacement pump may have been faulty. Before embarking on another expensive refit, just wanted to check if anyone had a similar fault on a Trophy 182. Any helpful comments appreciated

DF058 is your second lambda sensor the one after the cat showing a problem. Check top see its getting its 12V and if so change it.

Personally I'd just replace it.

Sounds like you need to take it to a different garage with clip before you waste any more money!

Where are you?

Renault Clip will pinpoint the error in seconds.

And replacing a lambda won’t sort you’re ABS light out so you will still be with the same issue and lighter pockets.

Btw what’s a clip?

It’s the diagnostic system that reads the ecu for errors and tells you in seconds what’s logged.

Beware though, you can buy aftermarket so called clip systems on the internet that are not worth the money it’s printed on.

Find a local specialist that has genuine Renault CLIP diagnostic software.

Car is all sorted now. Rentech was able to quickly identify the fault and sort it out whilst I waited. Very simple, it was merely brake pressure!!! Car now runs divinely. Thanks for all the help and advice from the forum.

Usually will be the speed sensor on one of the wheels - about £40 for a replacement. Mine have started to go in the last 6 months, so I guess they've lasted well.
