Squeeking noise!

yea mine has started to rattle the last month or so.
not the only thing in the passenger seat to usually do my head in :evil: !!

its just the thought of leaving it at the steelers again that makes me hold my hand on the seat once it starts.... not ideal :roll:

Car is now booked in for a week Monday... Apparently they think its the Strut tops that need modifying. Hmmmm I'm not convinced this is the problem as doesn't make any noise whilst driving or steering... Any ideas?

There is a strut top mod to correct the groaning/juddering most of us have when manouevring at low speed and full lock, as I asked about it. Never got it done as it doesn't affect normal driving and don't trust stealers with angle grinders!

I guess the noises you're all experienceing here are different/separate to this?

Well I guess Monday next week will tell.. Mine only does the noise when pulling away so can't see it being the strup top issue...

The noise has to be a lubrication issue as mine only makes a noise in the dry weather. A bit of rain and it goes away :?

This is what i thought, i guess when they replaced the balljoint they must have replaced the offending bush!
