I used to have No 126, 05 plate and had it from brand new. Its now owned by a guy in Cambridge, sold through All Vehicles, a company which specialises in selling Renaultsport cars, and came recommended on this site.
Was brilliant fun whilst I had it, but in 4 years it had done less than 20,000...
55 plate Trophy spotted at the Hollybush Rec in Sevenoaks last night.
I used to have a Trophy and its the first one I have spotted this year - missing it!
Have recently moved back to the area after a break-up, and am always flying about in the car so will look out for both of you. Have my mountain bike with me too, and should get out on it more often than I do - so may well invest in a bike bag also.
Will keep my eyes peeled for you guys 8)
It was great to be at Bedgebury yesterday with it being lovely and sunny, was there with my family then loads of my mates turned up, so had about 5hrs walking around and of course drinking tea and eating cakes at the visitor centre!
As I pulled into the car park I couldn't believe there was...
Saw you as I parked up at Bedgebury and you were just getting out of your car with your mates. Didn't get your number plate though.
Thanks for the note under the windscreen - you're my first Trophy spot in about 6 months!
Hope you had a good afternoon.
Tracy :D
Me and my other half drove the Hardknott Pass in March in his Scooby Forrester. Take my hat off to you doing in the the Trophy!! When they say steep - they mean steep!
Great pics :D
Seen Saturday 19th July at about 11.30am ish, parked on Brighton Road in Croydon.
Wasn't in my Trophy at the time, was being driven about in a Focus :?
My other half is taking my Trophy on a 1:1 tuition track day to Goodwood in August and need to insure the car - just in case the worst happens! God forbid!
We just have fully comp insurance at the mo, and wondered whether I can just 'up' the insurance with our existing insurance provider -...
Saw at about 8.30am Saturday morning. You were about 500 yards in front of me.
Flashed lights and both waved, pulled along side each other for a bit.
You disappeared off at Jct 13 very quickly.
Don't realise quite how good they look, until you see them on the motorway going at a pace!
The Richard Burns Subaru looked fantastic, went onto their stand at the end of the day, Richards actual Rally Car he won the championship in was parked up - quite poignant.
Was up at the rally section when the skies opened so it was like a mini-glastonbury. Tried to get on the Wild Cats but...
Seen Sat 9th June at approx 1pm going up Station Road toward the Centre of town. I pulled in to let you pass, and you didn't even say thank you, and I was smiling out of my window like a fool!
First time i've seen one, look great driving towards you.
Good deal from Admiral - Although the person on the end of the phone, who I was booking the insurance with kept calling it a Renault Clio 'Trooper' instead of Trophy!
Might be interesting if I ever need to claim!
Just managed to get it insured for £427 with Admiral. Fully comp, with only £250 excess. In my other halfs name as he has been driving a lot longer, with me as the named driver.
Not a bad deal - has cheered us up - was quoted £650 from Bell who we've been with for 2 years.
I would try Bell Insurance. I'm with them, and my other half is the main driver and I am the named driver and am 26 and its on £700 ish. But then its my first car and my other half has only claimed on his insurance once or twice in 10 years or so. However I do think Bell Insurance are...
Boys honestly! Am hoping you meant she would be holding the shirt for you and nothing else!
You can hang things in the back of the car, if you hang them from the rear passenger seat belt on the left hand side. Prob not a great idea but ok once in a while.
Complete girly answer - apologies!
It was a present for my 25th from my (wonderful!) other half.
He had a Subaru Impreza at the time, insurance was a killer, so got rid of the Scooby and bought a Clio Trophy, we shared it for a while and now he now has a Forrester.
Think I must have been a very good girl that year...
Just uploaded some pics from the summer onto my PC, some were of the F1 Grand Prix in the summer, took loads of pics, one happened to be of 3 Clio Trophys next to each other in the car park.
Just got the photos developed and one of them was T88PHY!
Wasn't in my clio at the time, was in the...
Risborough Tyres in Princes Risborough are where I got the cheap Exaltos from - anyone nearby or in the Buckinghamshire region, I would recommend them. They came to the house and fitted them too - v good service!
