Not to say the F4R is bad of course. It's got a nice torquey power delivery and is also very economical too.
But you can get 240 odd hp out of the CTR engine without breaking into a sweat. Amazing for an NA 2.0 four.
I've always done it. It's even started to rub off on the missus. Either that or she's getting gradually worse at parking. lol.
My car's still covered in little dents and scrapes though. Bastards.
Bloody hell, it took you less than an hour to google for his name.. I'm impressed.
And I can't believe you just told me your IQ. PMSL!!! A pigeon chested Strombasaurus is usually much harder to catch!!!
I take it there are no questions about fitting headunits in cars...
Who are they and did you collate any evidence to suggest that the theory on the mind being a belief engine? No, you didn't. So I guess your just the same as evryone else.
Put the books down Stromby, shut the window with google open in it and go out. there's a whole world out there simply...
Re: camber
The RS cars (or any other car to a greater or lesser extent) will be affected by the camber of the road which will naturally drift you to the left anyway, on most roads. Very few roads are truly flat. It's so the water runs off you see. lol
Has a STANDARD williams ever recorded better than 14.6?
There are 172's that have done...... only a handful, but I guess if you can class a few Northeners cars as 'regular' then I guess I can too...... How many STANDARD cars are there that regularily get in to the 14's? 3? 4?
I have to...
I was under the impression that it's 182 PS.
PS (Pferde Starke - German for Horse Power) is a metric equivalent to the bhp we know/use.
It's has been adopted as the standard unit for power in the EU iirc.
1 hp = 1.01387 PS iirc
You often harp on about the Willy being in the top ten cars.... so that must be bollocks as well then surely? Or did Renault pay Evo to get a 10 year old relic in there too?
Your far too easy to see through. Some of your wind-ups used to be subtle and even bordering on witty.... your...
F4R has 80% of it's torque available from 2500 rpm. Peak at 5250rpm. And it has more torque than the F7 in standard trim - All F4R variants produce 200Nm, with the 182 producing peak torque 250 rpm lower down the range than the 172.
So basically your talking shite.
ECU tweaks, exhaust...
How about... no, no and no again.
The fiesta ST is in the same class as the Clio. As is the 206 Gti, the Mini Cooper S - all superminis.
The reason the Clio will be compared to the Focus (golf, leon etc)is that they are both hot hatch backs, albeit from out of different classes, but have...
Same size? :!: :?:
:? lol
The Meg225 is a nice confortable and fast cruiser. But the Clio is seemingly faster round a track.
My mates Meg 225 Cup is noticeably quicker than my 172 in any gear above 80 ish mph.
I really like the sound of it - can't wait to get a test drive in one.
Did you see it on Top Gear? Cocking an inside wheel... on a soaking wet track?!!
It's in a different class to the Clio - Clio is Supermini, Focus is Small Family.
But both are Hot Hatchbacks, and there will...
Stromba has all the details, but from what I gathered it's just been sat in a shed. Needs some TLC to get it back to it's former glory.
Either way I doubt it'll go for less than 10k.
Exactly Nik.
As I said earlier in the thread, Strombas comments make sense from his perspective as he is soley interested in keeping cars as mint and as original as possible. That's his perogative and there's absolutley nothing wrong with that.
Certainly if I were buying a Williams, or a...
So a Cup spoiler and a Cup splitter have devalued my car? Don't talk fucking daft youth!!! They certainly don't add any value, but they don't devalue it. They are Renault parts and most prospecive buyers wouldn't even notice. lol.
In your world of concours classics your sentiment may be true...
Do you mean the pipe from the elbow on the inlet manifold? That is a crank case breather pipe - it simpler breathes the oily hot air back into the intake for the sake of emissions. You could get rid of it, but you'd have to fit some kind of catch tank or filter.
Or the pipe that is a few mm...
Heel and toeing is fairly easy, but it gets more difficult the harder ou are going - I find there can be quite a lot of brake pedal travel causing the pedal to go below the level of the accelerator.
I use the outside of my right foot. The term 'heel and toe' can be misleading.
Once...
