What is this part?

Tricky to make the part number out in the photo and I can't remember what it looks like in person- does this ring a bell with anyone?

Not sure if it's for something behind the scuttle panel? The car was in at the welders recently and they ended up fixing something in the wiper mechanism while it was in and they'd already lost one of my bloody engine bay seals.

Hi Patrick - not sure what it's for but is it dated 2006 (06) ? If so, might it be from another car?

I think this is a dust cover from beneath the wiper arm. I'll try and dig out a photo of when I took my wiper arms off.

I've checked, no photos sorry. But I'm 95% sure these go under the wiper arm, on the spindle.

Thanks, that would make sense given where I found it and what they were doing. I wish people paid more attention to what they were doing when it comes to reattaching seals and trim!
