There was one on ebay for £100 and it didn't sell? Wish I'd bid on it now!

Personally I'd keep it, think of it as an investment for the future

I have a couple here that I intend to keep to use should I ever need them. Going by the cost of these new and the future availability I can see Trophys running around on different struts one day.

In good condition these must be worth about £500 each? I think that's the cost of a refurb, but not sure if that's the price to refurb two struts and check geometry.

Someone is only going to pay that though if they need one, not just for stock.

As Steve said, to anyone on here i think they are worth the cost of the refurb, £400+.

One thing that's just crossed my mind, are they side sensitive?

If you mean the passengers side damper and the drivers side damper are different, then your right, the one your lookin at now is a drivers side damper.

yes they're side sensitive - the gas reservoir should be on the left for the drivers side and right for the passenger side (closer to back of the car)
