Quick question about springs

Fitted the dampers this afternoon and wondering if i'm being paranoid, the front springs look like the bottom 2/3 coils are touching when the car is on the floor.

Is this normal or have I fitted incorrectly?!

Thats normal mate.

That sounds about right, remember relatively soft springs and those first few coils are closer together to begin with.

Also took rear shocks off and they seem ok so pleased with my day.

Taking car for longer run in the morning so will get a feel for the car then. Didn't fit compbrake mounts and unsure if I want to really, will see.
