LW plate code, which country?

Diplomatic plate for Germany or Sidcup, London on brit plate.

LW is the code similar to our GB.

Rear plate = white, slightly narrower font compared to UK plates.

Spotted at Stanstead Airport. Car in question was pulled-over by armed police, those that were dragged out didn't look like German diplomats!

how old was the car? it may have been one from the old soviet states that have since chanegd their name maybe...?
