i keep the T locked away in the garage and use as when i want.whilst out in my daily run about van, i had a minor bump-no damaged to my van but a light scrape of the other cars bumper and resulting in the bumper popping out which is all going through the ins companies..to which i am gutted and rather annoyed with myself still anyway...
one thing i noted on my insurance form to fill out the details was do i own any other vehicles?,if so please provide insurance details of the other vehicles.
i take it this is standard practice? but why would they need to know and what would they do with that information?
ive no claims or bumps against the T and have the 9+ years no claims on my other policy.
i did ring and ask but the guy i spoke to didnt actually know but then mentioned something "so we know your not making other claims"
i assume they will contact my T insurace company which then will have a knock on affect when it comes round to re insurance of the T.
