Hi all,
Was driving the T on Friday afternoon and all of a sudden my brake pedal became very hard and stopped working. I found the problem to be a melted vacuum hose that runs from back of inlet manifold and past the exhaust manifold.
The heat from the manifold had melted my hose and caused it to collapse under the vacuum. I am now going to replace with high temperature hosing and reroute the hose such that it does not run so close to the manifold.
Please can someone lend there expertise and tell me how I can get to the other end of this hose? It runs across the back of the insulation of the bulkhead and then disappears somewhere near to the brake fluid reservoir. It is so tight and I am struggling to access. I think I will take wheel of and arch liner and access this way???
Cheers,
Rob
