accelerator pedal

can any one tell me if this is normal,when accelerating hard
the pedal feels smooth, then halfway down seems to stick
just for a moment then runs smooth again,is this normal
or does the car have a problem?.

There's no throttle cable so this could indicate an issue.

You sure you're not finding the cruise control overide switch on the pedal?

The pedal stops but if you push hard enough it moves a bit more which is the override for the cruise control an speed limiter modes.

sounds a bit strange to me - never noticed that before. mine seems smooth all the way

sure a mat aint catching or something like a wire loom aint rubbing up top?

thanks for your impute guys,tried all the
obvious, car mat ect but cant see anything
contacted dealer today. they dont know if this
is normal or not, they have asked me to bring
the car in for a inspection with mechanic/test drive

I wouldn't bother, it sounds like its the cruise overide
